Bail of CM KP Ali Amin Gandapur confirmed in 12 cases

RAWALPINDI (National Times): Judge Malik Ejaz Asif of Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has approved bail of Chief Minister (CM) KP Ali Amin Gandapur in the case registered in police station civil lines. .
This way bail of Ali Amin Gandapur has been approved in 12 cases related to Rawalpindi.

The court has approved bail of 10 accused including former federal and provincial ministers Taj Gul,Raja Basharat in the cases registered in police station civil line and New Town.
These accused appeared in the court along with their lawyers including Malik Muhammad Faisal advocate onThursday.

During the hearing of the case Malik Muhammad Faisal advocate argued that all the cases registered against the petitioner are based on malafide intent and political victimization. The petitioner is not nominated in any one case. The bail of those who were present on the scene or directly nominated in these case has been approved.

It is therefore, requested the bail of the petitioner be also approved to meet norms of justice.

The court approved bail after hearing the arguments of respondents.

Earlier the court on May 15 had confirmed the bail of Ali Amin Gandapur in 11 cases related to May 9 incident.

This way the bail of Ali Amin Gandapur in 12 cases has been confirmed.
