Inaugural ceremony of Road to Makkah Project held in Karachi

Karachi (National Times): The inaugural ceremony of Road to Makkah Project was held at Karachi Airport on Sunday.
Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Bin Said Al Malki, Chairman Saudi Passport and Immigration Lt General Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz and others attended the ceremony.
Addressing the ceremony, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori said that the Road to Makkah project has been successfully adopted and now elderly people will not have to go to the immigration counter anymore.
He said that around thirty five thousand Hujjaj will be facilitated through this project from Karachi.
The Saudi Ambassador in his remarks said through this facility, only single immigration of Hujjaj from Pakistan would be carried out at Karachi airport.
Under this project, the departure of Hujjaj from Karachi for Medina Munawwarah via Saudi Airline has been operationalized.
