Punjab govt will purchase wheat from farmers: Information minister Punjab

LAHORE (National Times): Information Minister Punjab Uzma Bkhari has said Punjab government will purchase wheat from farmers but no final decision has been taken how much wheat will be purchased from farmers.

As many as 120000 farmers have been short listed among 4 lacs farmers who had extended offer to sell their wheat

Talking to private TV channel she said traditionally government purchases wheat in the month of May but delay has been caused in this regard due to already existing stock and wetness in the wheat,
