Sui Northern to allow new gas connections only to consumers registered with their CNIC

Peshawar: Sui Northern Gas Company has decided to cut-off gas connections of those consumers who don’t register themselves with their national identity card numbers.
According to sources, thousands of consumers have been found whose CNIC numbers were not registered against their connections.
Gas connection in Peshawar and other districts of KPK province is not restored in case if gets disconnected, without the submission of CNIC number.
This in turn is creating hurdles for ripe consumers, since its hard for them to find their CNIC’s, sources said.
To avoid this hurdle, company has decided to allocate new connections to only those consumers, who register themselves with their CNIC.
