Pakistan is desirous of further bolstering military ties with Jordan: CJCSC

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza has called on Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Jordanian Armed Forces Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hnaity during his visit to Jordan.

According to ISPR both exchanged views on matters related to security, defence cooperation and regional security. Both the sides reiterated determination to bolster mutual cooperation and bilateral relations ..
They dilated upon measures to enhance the level and scope of military engagements between the two countries and reaffirmed to continue to forge deeper ties.
General Nadeem Raza said Pakistan is keen to expand its existing bilateral military to military cooperation with Jordan.
The professionalism of Pakistan’s Armed forces and their sacrifices in the war on terrorism were acknowledged by the Jordanian side.
Nadeem Raza was awarded with Jordan’s highest military award the ‘Order of Military Merit of the First Grade’ in recognition of his efforts to further promote bilateral relation.
