Govt facilitating foreign tourists through new visa regime: Fawad

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain Wednesday said tourism could become a game changer for the economy of Pakistan.
Speaking at the General Conference of the Parliamentary Assembly of ECO in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said Pakistan has a great untapped tourism potential.
The Minister said the government is facilitating foreign tourists through a new visa regime. He urged people to visit Pakistan as the country is safe and has many beautiful tourism spots.
Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said ECO is a powerful forum and it should mutually collaborate to promote tourism in the region.
The Minister said Pakistan’s economy is growing at the rate of four percent.
He said the positivity rate of COVID-19 in Pakistan is less than four percent, and with the effective strategy, the country has contained spread of the pandemic.
