PML-N ‘swindled’ IMF in past: Shahbaz Gill

Islamabad: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on political communication Dr. Shahbaz Gill Monday said that the previous PML-N govt presented ‘fake’ facts and figures before the International Monitory Fund (IMF).
In a statement on Monday, the premier’s aid said that powerful being held accountable is the prime example of supremacy of law and constitution during PTI tenure. The PML-N govt in past tried to ‘freeze’ the value of Pakistani rupee artificially and consequently harmed Pakistan’s revenue, Shahbaz said.
The Prime Minister’s aid further said that today the international institutions are also talking about reforms and improvements in our economy. PML-N’s leftover was a current account deficit which was converted into a surplus by the PTI govt, Shabaz said while lauding his own govt’s policies.
Dr. Shahbaz Gill further said that PML-N devastated our exports while today the foreign exchange reserves are reaching 23 billion dollars.
The PM’s assistant said that those who are giving lectures on economy are talking about law and constitution, this is the supremacy of law and constitution where powerful are held accountable.
