Babar Azam’s petitions against lodging of case fixed for hearing

Islamabad: Pakistan skipper Babar Azam’s petitions against the Lahore sessions court’s decision of lodging case against him have been fixed for hearing. Justice Waheed Khan of the Lahore High Court (LHC) will conduct hearing on May 24.
Babar Azam maintained in his petitions that the sessions court gave verdict – of filing case against him on request of Hamiza Mukhtar – without hearing his stance.
It is pertinent here to mention that Hamiza Mukhtar accused the Pakistan captain of harassment and blackmailing. She had also claimed that Babar Azam’s family made an offer of Rs 2 million as hush money through a third party.
