Pakistan bundled out for 202 in first innings at Multan test

MULTAN (National Times) – English bowlers have restricted Pakistan to 202 runs on the second day of the second Test match in Multan.

Pakistan’s skipper and middle-order batsman Saud Shakeel led Pakistan to a decent score on first day of the match after Imamul Haq and Abdullah Shafique departed but they could not maintain the momentum on the second day.

Babar departed at 75 on Ollie Robinson’s ball while Saud managed to score 63 runs on Jack Leach’s delivery. After Babar and Saud, only Faheem Ashraf managed to score past 20 and the rest of the team including wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Rizwan could not even cross 10 runs mark.

England’s spinner Leach grabbed four wickets. Mark Wood and Joe Root picked two wickets each. England is leading by 79 runs.
