Demolition of illegal chambers of lawyers in F-8 Kutchery football ground case: IBC review petition fixed for hearing on May 24

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has fixed for hearing on May 24 a review petition filed by Islamabad Bar Council (IBC) against the court’s decision on demolition of illegal chambers of lawyers constructed in football ground F-8 Kutchary Islamabad.

A 3-mmeber bench of SC presided over by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Gulzar Ahmad will hear the review petition.

SC had ordered to get vacate F-8 Kutchery football ground and demolish the courts and illegal chambers of lawyers therein.

Islamabad district bar association has resorted to SC seeking review of its decision in this case.
