Two robbers shot dead in police encounter

OKARA (National Times) – Two robbers were shot dead by police in the jurisdiction of Saddar Police on Sunday, Dunya News reported.

According to the police, four bandits were robbing people when the police reached the spot. A crossfire took place between the police and the suspects, leaving two robbers dead. Two suspects managed to escape while taking advantage of the darkness.

Okara District Police Officer (DPO) Furqan Bilal assured the arrest of escaped bandits. He said police have launched a search operation to capture them.
