NEPRA slashes power tariff by Rs5.13 per unit for K-Electric consumers

ISLAMABAD (National Times) – The National Electric and Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Friday slashed the power tariff by Rs5.13 per unit for K-Electric consumers.

According to the notification issued by the NEPRA, the price of the power tariff has been decreased on account of the fuel price adjustment.

It merits mention here that K-Electric had requested to reduce the price of power tariff by Rs4.62 per unit. The NEPRA held a hearing on fuel price adjustment on October 25. The implementation of the reduction of the price of power tariff will happen only for the month of November.

Meanwhile, the implementation will not happen for agricultural consumers and electric vehicle charging stations.
