Muslim countries which are keeping their silence deliberately on Palestine issue will have to come on one platform now: FM

ISTANBUL: Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said the Muslim world will have to get united now and several Muslims countries are keeping their silence deliberately and now they will have to come on one platform too.

“ Muslim world will now have to unite. Several countries are silent deliberately.. UN General Assembly will meet on 20th. The Muslim countries which are keeping their silence will have to come on one platform” he said this while talking to media men on his arrival here.

He held “ I am in Turkey now. Palestinian FM was to reach Turkey. But attempts are being made to create hindrances on his way to reach here. We will wait Palestinian FM in Turkey. Stopping Palestinian FM will be grave injustice. It is our endeavor Palestinian FM joins us here tomorrow.

He went on to say that all the political parties of Turkey are united on the issue of Palestine and Turkish people are also with the people of Palestine. Turkey has taken a tough stand.

He pointed out that we will leave for New York from Turkey. We will meet FMs of other Muslim countries in New York.

He underlined Israel is perpetrating heinous brutalities. The stance taken by Pakistan or any one other Muslim country will yield no particular outcome. All the Muslim world will have to unite.

There is need to go ahead with prudence, he stressed. Taking any wrong step will not be in the interest of Palestinians at present.

He remarked if any rocket is fired then Israel makes it pretext for attacking Ghaza in the guise of self defence.

He underscored several countries are silent deliberately.
