Caught red handed: Bilawal calls out Imran Khan after ECP verdict

ISLAMABAD (National Times) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while reacting on the verdict of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, said that Imran Khan has been caught red handed.

Taking to Twitter, Foreign Minister Bilawal said, “Election commission of Pakistan has found Imran Khan guilty of corrupt practices. He now stands disqualified.”

While calling out the PTI Chairman, he added, “He who would spread lies about alleged corruption of his political opponents has been caught red handed.”

Earlier, a four-member bench headed by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja announced the unanimous decision, in which the PTI chairman has been disqualified.

In the decision announced by ECP, it has been said that Imran Khan is no longer a member of the National Assembly, adding that he submitted a false affidavit and has been involved in corrupt practices.

The electoral watchdog declared Imran Khan’s National Assembly seat as vacant.

ECP further added that Imran Khan is no longer ‘Sadiq and Amin’ and legal action should be initiated against him.
