FM underlines need to tap vast investment opportunities in Pakistan including IT sector

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has underlined the need to tap the vast investment opportunities in Pakistan in diverse fields including Information Technology.
Talking to a delegation of senior representatives of Huawei Technologies in Islamabad, he said that economic diplomacy is the prime focus of the government now.
The Foreign Minister said that better governance and transparency could be ensured through the optimal use of Information Technology.
During the meeting, the delegation briefed the Foreign Minister on various investment projects being undertaken by Huawei Technologies in Pakistan.
