KARACHI: Election campaign time in connection with by polls in NA-249 Karachi has ended and the polling will take place on Thursday.

The NA-249 with over 7 lac population comprises Baldia Town, Ittehad Town, Saeed Abad, Rashid Abad and other areas.

30 candidates including Miftah Ismail from PML-N, Mustafa Kamal, Qadir Khan Mandokhel from PPP and Amjid Afridi from PTI are contesting election in this constituency.
Provincial election commission has finalized all the arrangements. 350000 ballot papers have been printed for this by polls.

75 polling stations of this constituency have been declared highly sensitive.

A neck to neck completion is expected between Miftah Ismail, Mustafa Kamal and Amjid Afridi.
