COAS reaches Naushki to spend day with Pak Army soldiers: ISPR

NAUSHKI (National Times) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday has arrived in Naushki to encourage the brave soldiers of Pakistan armed forces following a successful operation against terrorists in Balochistan.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief will spend the day with the troops. He will also get briefing over Balochistan operation and ongoing security situation.

COAS will also be informed about the operational preparations of formation.

It is pertinent to mention here that Prime Minister Imran Khan will also reach Quetta today to boost the morale of the armed forces.

Sources said that Prime Minister will hold meetings with Chief Minister and Governor of Balochistan. The premier will also be briefed about security situation as well as development projects in the province.

PM Imran Khan will also be briefed on the progress of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). On his visit, the premier will be flanked by federal ministers, MPAs and special assistants.
