Iraq lauds Pakistan Navy’s efforts for peace, stability in region

ISLAMABAD (National Times) – Naval Chief Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi, who is on an official visit to Iraq, has held meetings with Iraqi Defence Minister and Commander Iraqi Navy.

During the meetings, professional matters of mutual interest and bilateral maritime cooperation were discussed.

The officials of the host country commended Pakistan Navy’s efforts for peace and stability in the region.

According to the spokesperson for Pakistan Navy, the Naval Chief’s visit to Iraq will help further strengthen the bilateral relations.
