Shaukat Tarin tests positive for COVID-19

ISLAMABAD (National Times) – Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Shaukat Tarin has tested positive for coronavirus.

Shaukat Tarin has quarantined himself and a meeting of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) was supposed to be chaired by the finance minister today has been postponed.

On the other hand, Pakistan is reporting highest cases in months as country battles fifth wave of coronavirus fueled by omicron variant of coronavirus.
