Wajiha Swati murder case: Physical remand of suspects approved till Jan 1

RAWALPINDI (National Times) – Prime suspects in Pakistani-US woman Wajiha Swati’s murder case have been produced before the court today (Wednesday).

According to details, the security personnel presented Swati’s husband Rizwan Habib, father and a servant in the court and requested for physical remand. The court handed over the accused to the police by approving physical remand till January 1.

Moreover, scrutiny of suspects’ DNA samples is also underway.

Earlier, Swati’s husband had confessed to the murder during interrogation. He told that the victim came to Pakistan from England on October 16 to resolve property issues with him.

I killed Wajiha and buried her body in Hangu, he admitted.
