PA resolution against division of Sindh sent to federal govt

KARACHI(National Times)- The Sindh Assembly Secretariat has sent letters to the principal secretaries to the president and prime minister, and to the Senate and National Assembly, conveying a resolution that rejected any proposal to divide the province.

It informed the federal government that the house “calls upon the Federal Government, the Parliament, all political parties and all state institutions to respect the democratic will of the people of Sindh and their elected Provincial Assembly, and to refrain from initiating, supporting or entertaining any proposal that would alter the territorial integrity of the Province of Sindh”.
