BRUSSELS (National Times) The Embassy of Pakistan in Brussels organized Pakistan Festival 2026 at Palais Agora, near the iconic Grand Place, bringing the vibrant colours, traditions and cultural richness of Pakistan to the heart of Europe.

Held as part of celebrations marking Pakistan’s Independence Day, the festival provided Belgian and European audiences with an opportunity to experience Pakistan’s diverse cultural heritage and traditions. The event also served as a platform for cultural exchange and people-to-people engagement between Pakistan and Europe.

The festival showcased a wide range of Pakistani attractions, including traditional cuisine, music, handicrafts, jewellery and traditional attire, while also highlighting Pakistan’s tourism and trade potential. Visitors explored Pakistani products and cultural displays and enjoyed performances featuring music, traditional drums and dance.

A large number of Belgian and European visitors, as well as members of the Pakistani diaspora, attended the event and warmly appreciated Pakistan’s culinary diversity, artistic traditions, cultural vibrancy and renowned hospitality.

The festival offered a colourful and engaging celebration of Pakistan’s identity while creating opportunities for greater understanding and interaction between Pakistani and European communities.

The event underscored the importance of cultural diplomacy in strengthening the bonds of friendship, cooperation and mutual understanding between Pakistan, Belgium and the wider European community.
