Three killed in separate incidents across Balochistan

DERA MURAD JAMALI(National Times)-Three people were killed in three different incidents in Dera Bugti, Qila Abdullah and Jhal Magsi areas of Balochistan on Sunday.

According to police, unidentified armed men opened fire, killing a man in Jhal Magsi district. The victim was later identified as Phota Khan Lashari.

According to police, Lashari was going home on a motorcycle from Gandawah area.

When he reached Seed Farm area on the outskirts of Gandawah tehsil, the armed men opened fire, killing him on the spot.

Police rushed to the area after having been informed about the incident, took the body of the victim into their custody, and took it to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital.

In the second incident which took place in Dera Bugti district, a teenager was killed after he stepped onto a landmine planted at a roadside near Pat Feeder area by unidentified people.

The landmine exploded when the boy stepped over the mine.

Police took the body of the victim to the hospital where the deceased was identified as Essa Qalandrani. Later, his body was handed over to his family members.

In the third incident, a man was killed and three others were injured when two armed groups clashed in Qila Abdullah district.

According to police, members of the two rival groups opened fire on each other over a dispute. The armed clash left one man dead and three others injured.

The deceased was identified as Abdullah while his three brothers who were injured in the clash, were identified as Naseebullah, Ehsanullah, and Niamatullah.
