Two brothers shot dead in Dera Murad Jamali

DERA MURAD JAMALI(National Times)- Unknown armed men opened fire and killed two brothers in Dera Murad Jamali on Sunday, police said.

According to police officials, the incident took place in the evening within the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station near the Uch Power Plant area on the National Highway.

Unidentified armed assailants riding motorcycles opened indiscriminate fire on the two brothers, who were passing through the area, killing them on the spot.

Police rushed to the site after receiving information about the incident and shifted the bodies to the district hospital after cordoning off the area. Hospital officials said the deceased had sustained multiple bullet injuries, which caused their deaths.

The victims were identified as Lutaf Ali Abro and Sadiq Ali Abro. The bodies were handed over to the family after completing medico-legal formalities. Police said the attackers fled the scene after the firing.
