Brussels (National Times) Ambassador Rahim Hayat met with Member of the European Parliament Marc Botenga to discuss matters of mutual interest and strengthen parliamentary engagement between Pakistan and the European Union.
During the meeting, both sides underscored the importance of the continuation of the GSP+ scheme, recognizing its significance for Pakistan’s trade and economic cooperation with the European Union. They also discussed avenues to further deepen Pakistan–EU parliamentary engagement to enhance dialogue and cooperation between legislative institutions.
