Militants blow up government school in South Waziristan

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN(National Times)- Unidentified armed militants blew up a government school with explosives in the district, police sources said. According to officials, the explosion occurred in Bermal tehsil where Government Middle School Sharif Khan Kot was targeted. Two classrooms, bathrooms, the main gate and one side of the boundary wall were completely destroyed in the blast. Nearby houses also sustained partial damage. Sources confirmed that no casualties were reported in the explosion. Earlier, militants had also destroyed Government High School Azam Warsak in a similar bomb attack in the area.
