Punjab govt bringing rights to citizens’ doorsteps: Azma Bukhari

LAHORE(National times)- Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari stated that the Punjab government is ensuring that every citizen receives their entitlements at their doorstep. Azma highlighted that Maryam Nawaz has introduced a new trend this Ramazan called ‘Maryam ke Dastarkhwan’, providing meals to fasting individuals across Punjab. People in every tehsil are benefiting from this initiative, with both men and women attending the iftar arrangements. She further mentioned that 74 Sahulat Bazaars across the province are offering affordable and high-quality food items, with the Food Authority monitoring standards. Women are also able to order essential items from these bazaars from home. Azma Bukhari emphasized that the government, under Maryam Nawaz’s leadership, is delivering citizens’ rights directly to their doorsteps. The Ramadan Nighban Package ensures aid cards reach all eligible recipients, with district administrations and relevant staff working around the clock to implement the program.
