Seven killed, as many injured in Multan, Narang Mandi accidents

MULTAN/NARANG MANDI(National times)- At least seven people were killed and seven other sustained injuries in two separate road accidents in Multan and Narang Mandi on Thursday. According to detail, the first accident occurred in Sadiqabad area near Multan at the Multan-Sukkur Motorway where a car collided with a trailer when its driver falls asleep, killing three persons on the spot an injuring one more. Police and rescue teams reached the spot after being informed and shifted the dead and injured to hospital. The second accident occurred at the Muridke-Narowal Road in Narang Mandi where a mini-van collided with a truck, as a result four people died on the spot while six other sustained injuries. Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to a nearby hospital. According to rescue sources, two women were among the dead.
