Ramazan 2026: Working hours for federal government offices announced

ISLAMABAD(National times)- The federal government has shortened the working hours for government offices under its jurisdiction during the holy month of Ramazan. The notification, issued by the Establishment Division, outlined the working hours for both five-day and six-day workweek offices. For offices that operate five days a week, the new working hours will be from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Meanwhile, government offices functioning six days a week will operate from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. The offices will close at 12:30 pm on Fridays. These changes are part of the government’s efforts to adjust office timings in observance of Ramazan.
