ISLAMABAD(National times)- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday met President Asif Ali Zardari at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, where leaders of both Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) participated. The meeting focused on enhancing the working relationship between the two parties and continuing the consultative process at the party level. Sources confirmed that discussions also covered the country’s overall political, economic, and security situation. Key national and internal security matters were deliberated, while consultation took place on the upcoming election of the new President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Both leaders also exchanged views on the Gaza Peace Board and Pakistan’s perspective on the ongoing situation in the region. The meeting reflected coordination between the ruling and allied parties on matters of national and regional significance.
