Four people arrested in raid on Islamabad suicide bomber’s house

PESHAWAR(National times)- At least four people were arrested in a police raid on the house of the terrorist who carried out a suicide attack outside a mosque in Tarlai area of Islamabad on Friday. According to police sources, four people were taken into custody, including the suicide bomber’s two brothers and a woman. The suicide bomber’s identity card was found at the site of the blast, and the alleged attacker was identified as Yasir based on the name written on the ID card. The sources further stated that the suicide bomber had been residing in Afghanistan for several months. It is worth noting that a suicide blast occurred at an Imambargah in the Tarlai area of Islamabad, in which 32 people were martyred and 169 were injured. Police sources said that when the suicide bomber was stopped at the gate of the Imambargah on Ghazi Shah Imam Road in Tarlai Kalan, he detonated himself. According to police, the suicide bomber was affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij. Meanwhile, the district administration confirmed the martyrdom of 32 people and injuries to 169. An emergency was imposed in hospitals across the federal capital.
