CAA issues NOTAM for Lahore Basant Festival flights

LAHORE(National times)- The headquarters of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued a NOTAM regarding the three-day Basant Festival in Lahore. The festival will be celebrated from February 6 to February 8, and the NOTAM has been released to ensure safe air traffic movement in Lahore’s airspace during the event. According to the advisory, pilots have been instructed to remain extremely cautious while taking off and landing at Allama Iqbal International Airport. Special vigilance has been urged during low-altitude flights and the take-off phase. The NOTAM further emphasizes that pilots must exercise maximum care during landing as well, due to the risk posed by kite flying activities. Both domestic and international airlines have also been informed about the precautionary measures for flight operations during the Basant celebrations.
