PTI expresses concern over media reports regarding Imran Khan’s health

ISLAMABAD(National Times)- The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) core committee on Wednesday expressed concern over media reports regarding the health of party founder Imran Khan. According to a statement issued by the PTI core committee, media reports claim that the PTI founder was shifted from Adiala Jail to PIMS Hospital and later moved back to Adiala Jail, but his family, party leaders, and lawyers were not informed about the entire process. The core committee has termed the situation alarming as nobody was informed about the health of the PTI founder. The committee demanded that Imran Khan be examined by doctors from Shaukat Khanum Hospital, warning that if delays continue, an appeal for a peaceful shutter-down strike could be given. The statement further demanded that clear and complete information regarding PTI founder’s health be provided, and his family, party leaders, and lawyers be allowed to meet him immediately.
