Forensic report exposes PTI’s false narrative: Tariq Fazal

ISLAMABAD(National times)- Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Sunday said that the Punjab Forensic Science Laboratory’s report on videos of the May 9 incidents in Peshawar has once again exposed the false narrative of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). In a post on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that confirmation of the presence of PTI leadership through frame-by-frame analysis is proof that the attacks on state institutions were not carried out by an “emotional mob,” but under the patronage of organized political leadership. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that the attack on Radio Pakistan and other government installations was in fact an attack on the state of Pakistan. He added that PTI leadership not only incited violence but also exploited it for political gain. A party that claims to be a champion of democracy, he said, cannot be associated with setting institutions on fire. The federal minister emphasized that the law should now be equal for everyone, regardless of how big a name one may have. He further stated that no one can be allowed to attack the dignity of Pakistani institutions and the supremacy of the Constitution.
