Sindh announces public holiday on Benazir Bhutto’s death anniversary

KARACHI(National Times)- The Sindh government has announced a public holiday across Sindh on Saturday, 27 December 2025, on the occasion of 18th death anniversary of former prime minister and Pakistan People’s Party chairperson Benazir Bhutto. According to a notification issued by the Sindh government, there will be a public holiday throughout Sindh on Saturday. The Sindh government observes a public holiday every year on this day, and various events are organised under the auspices of the Pakistan People’s Party in her memory. It is worth noting that Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was martyred on 27 December 2007 after a public rally in Rawalpindi.
