PM takes notice of Dr Wardah’s murder case, seeks report from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IG

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken notice of the Dr Wardah murder case and sought a report from the Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police. The prime minister expressed deep sorrow over the incident and assured the family of full legal assistance to the bereaved family. On the other hand, Parliamentary Secretary for Human Rights, Saba Sadiq, visited Dr Wardah’s home and offered condolences to the family.Speaking to the media, Saba Sadiq said that the killers of Dr Wardah will be brought to justice at all costs and added that justice will be ensured for the daughter of Hazara. She said that any negligence in the Dr Wardah case will result in strict action. It is worth mentioning that negotiations between the KP government and the Grand Health Alliance have been successful, and all their demands have been accepted. On the request of Dr Wardah’s father, the Grand Health Alliance has announced the postponement of their protest.
