KP shifts school timings to 9am as heavy fog disrupts morning routine

PESHAWAR(National times)- A new timetable has been issued for schools across several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to dense fog. According to the notification, schools in four districts – Mardan, Charsadda, Nowshera and Swabi – will now open at 9am. The revised schedule will remain in effect until weather conditions improve. Class duration may be reduced by five minutes, and all schools have been instructed to strictly follow the updated guidelines. The directive was issued for students’ safety, the Education Directorate said, adding that the notification has been circulated to all districts, with school heads directed to ensure full compliance.
