Brussels (National Times) Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies killed thirteen militants in two separate intelligence-based operations in Lakki Marwat and Dera Ismail Khan districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 20–21 November 2025. Weapons and ammunition were recovered, and sanitization operations are ongoing as part of the country’s counterterrorism campaign “Azm-e-Istehkam.”

According to an official statement, thirteen militants were killed in two intelligence-based operations conducted by Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies on 20–21 November 2025 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In the Paharkhel area of Lakki Marwat District, security forces launched an operation following reports of militant presence. After an intense exchange of fire, ten militants were killed.
A second intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan District resulted in the killing of three militants during a firefight.
The statement noted that weapons and ammunition were recovered from those killed, who were described by officials as being involved in multiple terrorist attacks against security forces, law enforcement personnel, and civilians. Authorities also reiterated allegations that the militants were supported from abroad.
Sanitization operations are currently underway to clear the surrounding areas. Security forces affirmed that the ongoing counterterrorism campaign under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” framework—approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan—will continue with full resolve to eliminate all forms of foreign-sponsored terrorism in the country.
