Pakistan, Philippines Explore New Avenues for Enhanced Bilateral Cooperation

Brussels (National Times) Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines, Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro, on 21 November 2025 on the sidelines of the 4th EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Brussels.
Both sides reviewed the full spectrum of Pakistan–Philippines relations, identifying opportunities to advance mutual cooperation across various fields. They also expressed satisfaction with their constructive engagement at the United Nations and other multilateral fora, particularly through reciprocal support for each other’s candidatures.
The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to maintain close contact and continue strengthening bilateral and multilateral collaboration.
