Sri Lankan team reaches Pakistan for ODI matches, T20 triangular series

ISLAMABAD(National times)- The Sri Lankan cricket team arrived here on Sunday for playing three ODI matches and T20 triangular series. A series of three One Day International matches between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from November 11 to 15. After the one-day matches, T20 Triangular Series will begin. The teams of Pakistan, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka will compete in the T20 Triangular Series. The T20 Triangular Series will be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore from November 17 to 29. Sri Lankan captain Charitha Asalanka is the team. Security measures have been finalised for the upcoming Tri-Nation Cricket Series between Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe, scheduled to take place from November 11 to 27 in Lahore and Rawalpindi. According to the Punjab Home Department, one company each of the Pakistan Army and Rangers will be deployed in Lahore, while three companies each will be stationed in Rawalpindi to ensure foolproof security. In addition, Army Aviation helicopters will assist in aerial monitoring, while troops will be deployed under Article 245 of the Constitution and the Pakistan Rangers Ordinance 1959. Security arrangements will remain in place from November 8 to 30 to ensure a safe and peaceful environment for players and fans throughout the series.
