Kundi says Sohail Afridi should be given time to implement reforms

PESHAWAR(National times)- Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, on Monday said that current Chief Minister, Sohail Afridi, is new and should be given time to implement reforms. Speaking to the media, Governor Kundi stated that the former chief minister left behind major problems for Sohail Afridi and left the province burdened with terrorism and corruption. Faisal Karim Kundi further said that the Prime Minister has promised to implement the NFC Award, expressing hope that it will be implemented soon. He added, “I am playing the role of a bridge between the province and the federal government. This position is not like a personal property — it is a trust of the party.”
