Governor Tessori telephones Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, expresses concern over flood situation

KARACHI(National times)- Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori on Wednesday held a telephonic conversation with MQM Pakistan Chairman Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, who is currently on a visit to China. During the call, they expressed deep concern over the flood situation that emerged in Karachi following recent rains. The Sindh governor said the current situation is extremely serious and directed all elected representatives to remain present in their respective constituencies and extend every possible help to the people. He emphasized that no one will be left alone in this difficult time. Tessori also instructed the concerned authorities to accelerate relief operations in the affected areas, relocate people to safe places, and ensure immediate provision of ration, drinking water, and other essential supplies. The Sindh governor stated that the government stands with the people and every possible step will be taken to provide relief to citizens.
