ISPR releases new patriotic song to mark Defence Day

RAWALPINDI(National times)- The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a new patriotic song to pay tribute to the martyrs on the eve of the 60th Defence and Martyrs’ Day. The new song “Watan Ki Khatir Jiyen Mary Gy” (Live and die for the homeland) reflects the “voice of the hearts of the people of Pakistan”. The lyrics of the song express a deep love for the homeland, a spirit of sacrifice, and a clear message to the enemy — that if they dare take even one step toward the sacred land of Pakistan, they will be met with a crushing response. The words of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Field Marshal Asim Munir have added great significance and glory to the new song.
