Three schoolchildren killed, 5 injured in Abbottabad road accident

ABBOTTABAD(National times)- Three schoolchildren lost their lives and five others seriously injured after a speeding dumper truck ran over the group near Lady Garden Park in Abbottabad on Friday. According to initial reports, the children were walking near the park when the incident occurred. Rescue teams arrived at the scene promptly, shifting the bodies of the deceased and the injured students to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for medical treatment. Hospital staff are currently providing emergency care to the injured children, while police have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident. Efforts are underway to locate and arrest the dumper driver, who fled the scene. Police teams have begun conducting raids in the area as part of the ongoing manhunt. This tragic incident has shocked the local community, raising concerns about road safety measures near schools and public parks.
