Heavy rains trigger flash floods in Mansehra, vehicles swept away

MANSEHRA(National times)- Torrential rains lashed Mansehra and adjoining areas, causing flash floods in streams and nullahs. The heavy downpour led to the overflow of a seasonal stream, with floodwaters entering houses and markets. One house sustained damage in the incident. At least three vehicles were swept away by the flood currents, while a madrassa also came under threat. However, rescue teams managed to safely evacuate all the students present inside. Meanwhile, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a weather alert, warning of heavy rains in Islamabad and various districts of Punjab from today (Monday) until September 3.
