100 more electric buses dispatched from China for Punjab

LAHORE(National times)- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s initiative of bringing eco-friendly transport system has borne fruit, as 100 more state-of-the-art electric buses have departed from Shanghai Seaport en route to Pakistan. The CM announced that these buses will arrive in Punjab within a few weeks, and by December, modern electric buses will be operational in every district of the province. She also stated that the fare for the electric bus will be just 20 rupees, making it affordable for the common citizen. For passengers’ convenience, the buses will be air-conditioned and equipped with climate control systems. Additionally, to prevent harassment of women, CCTV monitoring systems have been installed. The CM assured the public that the people of Punjab will soon have access to comfortable and modern buses in every district.
