Seven picnickers gunned down in Kohat attack

KOHAT(National times)- Seven people were killed and one sustained bullet injuries when unidentified gunmen opened fire at them in Regi Shino Khel, Dunya News reported here on Saturday. It is reported that the victims have gone to Tanda Dam for picnic when gunmen targeted them. Police were informed about the gruesome murders, who rushed to the scene and started investigation after shifting the dead bodies to hospital. A manhunt has been launched for the fleeing assailants. Police have cordoned off the surrounding area. Meanwhile, a suspected robber was killed in police encounter in Shahdra Town, Lahore. According to Crime Control Department (CCD), the alleged robber was taken out by the firing of his own accomplices during a shootout with CCD police. Police claimed that the outlaw was wanted in many criminal cases.
