Pak Army’s defeat of India unmatched, says Sharjeel Memon

KARACHI(National Times)- Sindh senior minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that the way Pakistan’s armed forces defeated India is unparalleled, calling it a historic and humiliating loss for the neighbouring country. Speaking to the media at the departure ceremony of a special Independence Train in Karachi, Memon praised PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for exposing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi globally, stating that he revealed Modi’s true face to the world, leading even Indian citizens to criticise him. He stressed the need to set aside differences and face challenges as a united nation, noting that the Sindh Chief Minister had invited all political parties to a joint meeting. Memon highlighted that Pakistan has suffered the most from terrorism, with its armed forces sacrificing lives for the country’s security. “We only want peace. Pakistan is a united nation, and we must convey this message to the world,” he said. Earlier, the Sindh Department of Culture and Tourism flagged off a special Independence Train from Karachi to Tharparkar. The send-off event at Karachi’s Cantt Station featured artistic performances, and a 78-pound cake was cut to mark Independence Day celebrations.
