Sherry Rehman demands accountability for Rs. 6 trillion loss in state institutions

ISLAMABAD(National Times)- Sherry Rehman demands accountability for the Rs. 6 trillion loss in government institutions. Senator Sherry Rehman, while speaking on a call-attention notice in the Upper House regarding the Rs. 6 trillion losses in state-owned enterprises, stated that the CEO of Pakistan Reinsurance Company received benefits worth Rs. 335 million over three years. She further said that although politicians may not be directly involved in these matters, when such a large amount of public money is at stake, a proper audit must be conducted. In her words: “This is public money, and there must be accountability at all costs.”
