SHC nominates judges for ex-cadre positions

KARACHI(National Times)- The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Saturday nominated judges for ex-cadre positions. Member Inspection Team-I has sent a letter to the Secretary of the Ministry of Law and Justice in this regard. The Chief Justice of the SHC has approved the nomination of District and Sessions Judges for special courts and tribunals. According to the letter addressed to the Ministry, District and Sessions Judge Jahangir Ahmed Dayo has been nominated for Banking Court No. 7 in Karachi, Judge Rehmatullah Moro for the Banking Court in Larkana, Judge Nosheba Qazi for Banking Court No. 3 in Karachi, and Judge Amina Nazir Ansari has been nominated for Special Anti-Corruption Court No. 2. District and Sessions Judge Suraiya Mahboob has been nominated for the Anti-Encroachment Tribunal in Karachi, Judge Shazia Asif for Labour Court No. 2, and Judge Zafarullah Solangi for the Special Anti-Encroachment Court in Hyderabad. Retired District and Sessions Judge Javed Iqbal has been nominated for Labour Court No. 7 in Larkana, while Retired Judge Muhammad Saad Qureshi has been nominated for Customs and Anti-Smuggling Court No. 1. Similarly, Retired District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Mushtaq Leghari has been nominated for Customs and Anti-Smuggling Court No. 2, Retired Judge Javed Ahmed Kairyoo for a Banking Court, Retired Judge Shahid Pervaiz Memon for a Banking Court in Karachi, and Retired Judge Syed Naseeruddin Shah for Banking Court No. 2 in Karachi.
